Postcards From The Other Side Of The Apocalypse has won the award for best original sound at the fourth international flash film festival. The flash film festival is regarded as the premier awards show for recognizing the achievements of Flash Animators and Web Site Developers from around the world.
The animated post apocalyptic vision of writer/producer Tim Tyler (Cheshire Smile Animation Inc.) was selected from over 1500 entrants as a finalist for Best Original Sound at the 2001 International Flash Film Festival in San Francisco. http://www.flashforwardconference.com
"Postcards From The Other Side Of The Apocalypse" is an evolving collection of animated action/adventure tales set in Saskatchewan after the end of the world as we know it today. The stories feature strong and unique women as they deal with the harsh reality of life in an apocalyptic wasteland.
